[origin: EP0960850A2] An adjustable driving position for a fork lift truck enables the operator to assume comfortable driving positions for travelling in either direction. The seat (12) pivots about a vertical axis which is offset from the middle of the seat but is still inside the seat contour. The pedals and the steering column are adjustable along set arcs so that in any angular setting the distance to the controls remains constant. The adjustment can be manual or via servo drives and enables the operator to select the most comfortable positions.
