Abstract (en)
A grip for laying pipe sections is mounted on the end of an articulated arm eg. an excavator arm, and grips into the open end of each new pipe section to position it in the trench into the end of the pipeline. The grip has a fixed support (26) which is inserted into the end of the pipe section and a movable clamp (30) which presses onto the top of the pipe, to press the pipe onto the fixed grip. After lowering the pipe section into the trench a ram (104) pushes the pipe section into the end of the pipeline. The grip is fitted to the articulated arm on a universal joint to enable the new pipe sections to be aligned with the pipeline.

Eine Rohrverlegevorrichtung (20) umfaßt: eine langgestreckte Rohrtrageanordnung (52), welche in den Innenraum eines zu verlegenden Rohrs (34) einführbar ist und auf welcher das Rohr (34) mit der Innenoberfläche aufliegen kann, eine Rohrfixieranordnung (30) zum Fixieren des zu verlegenden Rohrs an der Rohrverlegevorrichtung (20) bei in das Rohr (34) eingeführter Rohrtrageanordnung (52) sowie eine Verschiebe-Kolben/Zylindereinheit (104), mit welcher die Rohrtrageanordnung (52) in ihrer Längsrichtung verschiebbar ist. Die Rohrfixieranordnung (30) fixiert das Rohr durch Erzeugung einer Anpreßkraft gegen eine Außenoberfläche des Rohrs an der Rohrtrageanordnung (26). <IMAGE>
