Abstract (en)
The oil pump (4) and coolant pump (5), for an internal combustion motor, are behind each other, powered by a common drive wheel (6) and in a common cylinder block opening. The opening to hold the pumps is in an apron (3) of the crankcase housing (1) as a passage opening (7), aligned at one side to an end side of the crankcase housing (1). The drive wheel (6) is at the end side, outside the opening (7), and the oil (4) and coolant (5) pumps in succession at the drive wheel (6) are inserted into the opening.

Eine diesbezüglich bekannte Brennkraftmaschine weist einen Zylinderblock aus Gußeisen ohne Buchsen auf und hat verschiedene Aufnahmevorrichtungen für Schmierölpumpe, Wasserpumpe, Schmierölkühler und Wasserbypaß. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Ölpumpe (4) und die Kühlflüssigkeitspumpe (5) hintereinanderliegend angeordnet von einem gemeinsamen Antriebsrad (6) antreibbar und in eine gemeinsame Ausnehmung einsetzbar, wobei die Ausnehmung in eine Schürze (3) des Kurbelgehäuses (1) als durchgehende Öffnung (7) eingelassen und die Öffnung (7) einseitig zu einer Stirnseite des Kurbelgehäuses (1) ausgerichtet ist. <IMAGE>
