[origin: EP0961034A1] The cooling system for a radial compressor has a feed (27) for the coolant gas (31) upstream of the radial gap zone (20) of the dividing gap (18) between the compressor wheel and the housing, opening into the gap. The feed (27) has a supply channel (25). The radial extension (20) of the dividing gap (18) has an entry zone (22) which is radially flush with the supply channel (25).
