[origin: DE19820538A1] The device consists of a handle (1) and a carrying element (2) equipped with textile strips (3). The carrying element has a cylindrically shaped hollow top (10) into which the handle can be inserted and rotated horizontally. A stop (6, 8) moves along a horizontal slot (7) positioned at the front of the cylindrical area allowing the mop to perform a limited horizontal motion. The mop unit can be removed from the handle for cleaning or exchange by operating a slide mechanism (11).
