Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0962289A2] The bolt setter has a housing (1) with hand grip (4), and outer tube (8), which is longitudinally moveable relative to the housing. A damper unit acts between housing and tube and is positioned to cause a relative movement. An inner tube (20) inside the outer tube contains and forms a guide track for the drive piston (23). The damper unit has adjustable damper energy, and consists of a damper spring (19), which is supported in the housing with one rigid end, and is connected to the outer tube with the second end.
