[origin: EP0962316A1] An expander mechanism (12) is adjustably held on the end (22) of a shaft (14). The external diameter of the expander mechanism when not expanded at most equals the external diameter of the shaft, and, when expanded, is greater than the cylinder's (10) internal diameter. The expander mechanism has a bushing (26) which is screwed onto a threaded section (24) of the shaft-stub on which is a cone (30) over which the expandable claws (34) of the expander mechanism glide. The claws are positioned on a ring (28).
