Abstract (en)
Layers (2 - 5) are secured together by binding threads (6, 7). The external layer (2, 3) and binding threads are formed from intimately mixed fibers comprising stainless steel and material carbonizing at high temperature. Threads of the internal layer (4, 5) have high mechanical- and temperature resistance. Preferred features: The mixture comprises 50-90 wt% stainless steel fiber and 10 - 50 wt% carbonizing fiber. Threads of internal layers commence as para-amide. Threads forming the external layer and/or the internal layer are reinforced by continuous metal filaments or other filaments with high mechanical- and thermal resistance. The belt comprises a multiply weave including at least double layers forming each of the external and internal layers. There are four layers, warp and weft layers being reinforced as described.
