Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0962585A2] Poromeric artificial leather is produced by (1) impregnating a textile sheet with an aqueous polyurethane (PU) dispersion and drying to form an essentially nonporous material and (2) treating the impregnated material with an aqueous solution of a Bronsted base. An Independent claim is also included for poromeric artificial leather obtained by this process.
