Abstract (en)

The fixing unit comprises an intermediate plate (8) located below the base of the rail, angled guide plates (6) which support the rail on both sides against a groove (2) and/or shoulder (3), tensioning clamps (7) and rail fixing screws (5) which are anchored in plugs (4) in the sleeper. The plugs are located in the sleeper in such a way that they act as a bearing for the rail. If rails with a narrower base are used, spacing members can be located between the rail and the guide plates. The spacing members have an arm which extends over the rail base. The tensioning clamps press on the spacing members and thereby also press the rail down.
