Abstract (en)
The frame enclosing the glass (4) consists of metal, U-shaped profiles (6) gripping round the glass edges (10). The side of the metal profiles facing away from the glass form a thrust arm (11) as an extension of one U-arm (8). The metal profiles have at least one holder (12,13,14) into which is inserted a corner piece (15,16,17) reinforcing the corners of the frame.

Eine Brandschutztür (1) umfaßt ein verglastes Türblatt (3), dessen die Verglasung (4) einfassender Rahmen (5) aus Metallprofilen (6) mit einem im wesentlichen U-förmigen Querschnitt zum Umgreifen der Verglasungsränder (10) besteht. Um eine möglichst einfache und leichte Konstruktion zu erreichen, bilden die Metallprofile (6) an der verglasungsabgewandten Seite in Verlängerung eines U-Schenkels (8) einen Anschlagschenkel (11) und weisen wenigstens eine Aufnahme (12, 13, 14) zum Einsetzen eines die Rahmenecken verstärkenden Eckwinkels (15, 16, 17) auf. <IMAGE>
