[origin: EP0962663A2] The control device has a control module (2). This has at least a first valve (4) with an electric actuator (5). A load connector (6) connects a fluid line (7) leading to the load (8) to the valve (4). A main connector (18) communicates with the valve (4) and connects a fluid line connected to a fluid source (P). A first electric sensor input (37) connects a connection cable (38) leading to a sensor (42). The device has a bus station (26) with connectors (28) for connecting a bus line leading to an external electronic control unit (32). The bus station is electrically connected to the sensor input and the valve actuator (5). A complementary module (44) has a second valve (46) with an electric actuator, a second load connector (47), and a second electric sensor input (48). The complementary module is built onto a first location surface on the control module (2). A first electric interface (53) is provided on the first location surface (49) of the control module (2) and is connected to the bus station (26). A fluid interface (55) communicates with the main connector (18). A second electric interface (54) on the other surface of the complementary module is connected to the second sensor input and the second valve actuator. A second fluid interface (56) is connected to the second valve. The control and complementary modules are arranged relative to each other so that the opposing electric and fluid interfaces are connected with each other. A connector is provided for releasably fixing the modules together.
