Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0962705A2] The cooker point has at least one gas burner (2), a basin base plate and a carrying frame (1) for cooking pots. At least one residual heat indicator (3) is integrated into the carrying frame, whereby the indicator has at least one bimetallic or memory metal strip (5) thermally coupled to the frame and connected to an indication surface (6). The indicator is arranged at a point not directly exposed to radiated heat from the gas burner.
