The material web is wound into a reel (2) and wrapped by a wrapping web (11) which is connected to the incoming material web (7) and the reel is turned further on. The material web is cut in the longitudinal direction prior to winding and the connection with the wrapping web is before cutting. Independent claim describes manufacturing apparatus where the wrapping web dispenser has a delivery path opening into the inlet path of the material web.

Es wird ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen einer am Umfang verpackten Materialbahnrolle (2) angegeben, bei dem eine Materialbahn (7) zu der Materialbahnrolle (2) aufgewickelt wird und eine Verpackungsbahn (11) um den Umfang der Materialbahnrolle (2) gelegt wird. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner die daraus entstehende Materialbahnrolle. Hierbei möchte man die Materialbahnrolle platzsparend herstellen können. Dazu wird die Verpackungsbahn (11) mit der zulaufenden Materialbahn (7) verbunden und die Materialbahnrolle (2) wird weiter gedreht. <IMAGE>
