Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0963932A2] The roller exchange head (3) has a pivot arm pivotably driven in a joint, at the free end of which in a bearing a steel roller (10) and an adjustment arm (12) accommodating the smoothing roller (4) is located. The adjustment arm on its tube cover (8) has a force-regulated adjustment system (6). The force devices consist of an adjustment unit regulatable in its path for locating the beam arm (1). The pivot arm is pivotable by at least one hydraulic cylinder. The force-regulatable adjustment system has at least one hydraulic cylinder, a pneumatic cylinder, a spring damping system or similar.
