Abstract (en)
At one end of the escalator is a securing element (9) serving as a rotary point whilst at the other end of the escalator are resilient bearings (10,15) for taking up the lateral movements and for centring the staircase. The securing element has a bolt (9.1) supported by a support bearing (9.5) on the structural side and passing through a bore (6.1) provided in the centre axis of the staircase.

Bei Erdbeben treten Schwingungen und seitliche Verschiebungen der Etage E1 zur Etage E2 auf. Das Lager am unteren Fahrtreppenende kann beschränkt seitliche Bewegungen ausführen. Um diese Bewegung zu dämpfen bzw. die Fahrtreppe (1) in die ursprüngliche Lage zu bringen, ist eine Endlagendämpfung (10) vorgesehen. In der bauseitigen Ausnehmung oder dem Deckendurchbruch (11) sind seitliche Ausnehmungen zur Aufnahme von Dämpfungselementen vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
