[origin: EP0964159A2] The pump has a housing (3) with cylindrical chamber (5) containing a gerotor set (9) with outer rotor. An anti friction bearing or slide bearing element (90) for radial bearing of the outer rotor in the chamber, is positioned between the radially opposite circumferential surfaces (6) of chamber and rotor. The anti friction bearing may be a roller bearing, ball bearing, or needle bearing. The slide bearing element may be carbon fiber and/or plastic and/or ceramics. The part of the pump housing forming the circumferential chamber surface, and the gerotor set are of stainless steel.
