Abstract (en)
The arrangement has a manually operated valve (7,8) in the gas feed line (6) and an electromagnetic valve (5,6) in the line that closes if the flame (10) is quenched. An ignition plug (3) at the burner point (4,10) ignites the gas and indicates whether unburnt gas is escaping. The electromagnetic valve and ignition plug are connected to an electronic controller (2) that activates the ignition plug if unburnt gas is escaping, and if ignition was not successful within a defined period or number of ignition pulses, closes the electromagnetic valve. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the method.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Sichern einer Gasbrennstelle gegen unverbrannt ausströmendes Gas mit einem in der Gaszuführungsleitung angeordneten, von Hand betätigbarem Ventil und einem in der Leitung zusätzlich angeordneten Elektromagnetventil, das bei erloschener Flamme schließt, und einer an der Gasbrennstelle angeordneten Zündkerze, durch die das Gas gezündet wird und die anzeigt, ob Gas unverbrannt ausströmt. Das Elektromagnetventil und die Zündkerze sind mit einer elektronischen Steuerungseinrichtung verbunden, die bei unverbrannt ausströmenden Gas die Zündkerze zum Zünden bringt und bei erfolgloser Zündung innerhalb einer vorbestimmten Zeit oder vorgegebener Anzahl von Zündimpulsen das Elektromagnetventil schließt. <IMAGE>
