Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9839103A1] The invention relates to a system and method for coating especially difficultly accessible radiators and similarly difficultly accessible bodies. To achieve this, a coating liquid is applied (11) without pressure to a body (10) that is to be coated. The excess run-off liquid (23) is collected in a collector pan (5) and is subsequently pumped back into a store tank (1) by a return pipe (19) and a return pump (4). The coating liquid is then carried from the store tank (1) to a flow-coating spray gun (3) by a feed pump (6) and a feed pipe (12), thereby forming a closed coating liquid circuit. The flow-coating spray gun (3) enables the coating liquid to be applied without pressure to the radiator (10). In order to apply heavy-medium or paste-like masses, said mass (37) is removed from the store tank (29) by applying pressure (27,28; 32) and is conveyed in a targeted manner to the difficultly accessible location (guiding duct 42) by the flow-coating spray gun (3).
