[origin: EP0965293A2] The cover has several disc springs (1) located at a distance from one another and unconnected, on which the mattress is laid. The disc springs have several spring plates (2a,2b) which are connectable together in the region of their edges. Two spring plates form a plate packet (2), where each packet has a V-shaped cross section. The spring plates are made of plastics and have at least four radial slits (5). The disc springs have support elements (10) on their ends facing the mattress, and have a central opening (9) about which are located the slits. A foot section (20) of the disc spring and the support element each have an opening (9) corresponding to the central opening.
