Abstract (en)
The fire extinguisher incorporates an unclogging tube (14) for the extinguishing powder, fitted at its lower end (20) with a non-return valve to prevent any reflux of the powder into the tube. The valve is in the form of an end cap with one or more holes and an inner seal lip which allows gas to pass out of the tube to unclog the powder but prevents any powder from being drawn in. The gas cartridge (12) contains liquid carbon anhydride, and the extinguisher's plunger (13) tube has a flexible and gas-impermeable lower end.
