Abstract (en)
The method involves using packaging materials, i.e. pre-cut sections, as reels of wound material strips and/or sections separated from these material strips, for enclosing the package contents. The packaging materials of different types are identified from markings on the material and/or on the reels, esp. the reel cores, when the machine is brought into service or when the material or type of package is changed. The markings are checked for correct association with the type of package to be produced. The markings can be checked and or read via a laser scanner(32) or ccd-camera. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for producing packages, esp. cigarette packages.
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von Packungen, insbesondere Zigarettenpackungen. Ein Wechsel des Packungstyps macht es erforderlich, daß das Bedienungspersonal das korrekte, dem neuen Packungstyp zugeordnete Verpackungsmaterial sorgfältig bereitstellt. In der Praxis ist dieser Materialwechsel häufig fehlerhaft. Die Erfindung vermeidet Fehler beim Wechsel des Packungstyps indem das Verpackungsmaterials anhand von Markierungen, die Verpackungsmaterial unterschiedlicher Ausführung zugeordnet und am Verpackungsmaterial und/oder dessen Träger, insbesondere an einem Bobinenkern der Bobine, und/oder Verpackung vorgesehenen sind, identifiziert und hinsichtlich korrekter Zuordnung zum herzustellenden Packungstyp überprüft wird. <IMAGE>
