The screw cap has a guarantee band (12) attached to it by a number of connecting webs which break when the container or bottle is first opened. The guarantee band has at least one intended break point which is torn apart on the first opening. This point (16) extends at an angle to the plane defined by the band and to the vertical (17), and may be formed by an angled cut through from the outside of the band.

Verschlußkappe, insbesondere Schraubkappe (10) aus Kunststoff mit einem Garantieband (12), das dazu bestimmt ist, mit einem oder mehreren Rückhalteelementen an einem Behälter-, insbesondere Flaschenhals in Eingriff gebracht zu werden. Die Verschlußkappe und das Garantieband sind durch eine Mehrzahl von Verbindungsstegen (13) miteinander verbunden, welche beim erstmaligen Öffnen des Behälters bzw. der Flasche brechen. Das Garantieband (12) weist an wenigstens einer Stelle seines Umfangs eine Sollbruchstelle auf, die ebenfalls beim erstmaligen Öffnen des Behälters bzw. der Flasche reißt. Die Sollbruchstelle (16) des Garantiebandes (12) erstreckt sich schräg zu der durch das Garantieband (12) definierten Ebene und ist vorzugsweise als durchgehend schräger Einschnitt an der Außenseite des Garantiebandes gebildet. <IMAGE>
