[origin: EP0965548A2] At least one part of the casing surface (5) has a passage through which the length of material is removed. The roll with the length of material in the uncoiler (1) is held and centered by a spindle (2) extending from a circular cut-out section (31) in the middle of the cover (3) to the circular cut-out section (41) in the base (4). The spindle in the cover is locked by a bayonet fastening.
