Abstract (en)
The signal-producing unit (5-7) is integrated in the hollow roll core (2). An Independent claim is included for a unit for unrolling the strip material comprising a fixed axle and the claimed roll. Preferred Features: The signal producing unit (5-7) is either inside the roll core, is cylindrical and acts as the roll core or is located between the roll core (2) and the fixed axle (10) and the signal can be either a sound, music or a spoken word. The signal producer comprises two relatively moving parts, one connected to the axle and the other to the roll core.
