[origin: EP0966063A2] The electrical conductor clamp terminal device has an insulating housing (3) with an insertion opening (6,6') for each electrical conductor (12) engaged by a one-piece contact element (7) fitted in the housing, with a clamp plate (20) extending diagonally across the conductor reception chamber (2,2') on the inside of each insertion opening, with a clamp edge (27), elastically deflected by the inserted electrical conductor.
