[origin: DE19710168C1] The invention relates to a treatment device (100) comprising a receptacle (5) for a treatment fluid in which a drum (10) surrounded by a strip of fabric (W) carries out eccentric rotating movements. The drum (10) consists of parallel, hollow sealed bars (11) and has a shaft (15) configured as a hollow shaft, all of which together generate a vertical lift that corresponds to a significant part of the weight of the drum (10) and drum shaft (15). The drum (10) is suspended at one end on elastic drive belts (32) and at the other end on tension springs (33) which bear the remaining weight. The shaft of the drum (10) is eccentrically mounted on an eccentric shaft (20) having balancing weights (28). All these measures help ensure that the treatment device (100) emits few vibrations to the outside when it is operational.
