Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0966913A2] The method involves omitting the pre-rinse and intermediate rinse cycles and involves the use of a dosing device for a rinsing and/or cleaning agent for addition to the rinsing liquid for the items to be cleaned (14') stacked in the dish and cutlery basket. The program controller is expanded with a selectable program variant for cleaning items with silver surfaces, where the items are treated with a silver cleaning and/or maintenance agent added to the rinse aid. An Independent claim is also included for a dishwasher.
