[origin: EP0967344A2] The plate-shaped component (1) on one edge (10) has a water channel (11) and on the other adjacent edge (30) an overlapping channel (31). There is a roof-shaped overhang (21,40) extending over the length of the component on the opposite edges to these edges. The water channel laterally in the direction of the plate-shaped component is formed by a ledge (12) and in the direction of the adjacent component by a strip (14). The overlapping channel is formed laterally in the direction of the plate-shaped component by a ledge (32) and in the direction of the adjacent component by a water flood strip (33).
