[origin: WO9830127A1] A tent which is easily transformable into an outdoor jacket comprises a flysheet, elastic shock-corded poles (1, 2) and a canopy, said canopy being a hollow one-piece volume the form of which is essentially a pyramid of four sides that has been elongated at one side and rounded off at the peak and thus forms a dome, the structure of the dome being achieved with two arching elastic shock-corded poles (1, 2) that run diagonally across the top dome-like surface. A special designed screw peg (46, 47) can be utilized in connection with the tent. The tent advantageously replaces a pack tent.
