[origin: DE19710109A1] The present invention relates to a heat-sealing adhesive containing latex particles with a core consisting of a homopolymer or a copolymer with a glass transition temperature lower than 20 DEG C and a shell consisting of a copolymer with a glass transition temperature of more than 30 DEG C, characterized in that the shell copolymer contains monomer units from the group of N-methylol acrylamide, N-methylol methacrylamide and the (C1-C4)-alkyl ether thereof, wherein the latex particles do not contain any monomer units with amino groups or ureido groups or N-heterocyclic groups. The invention also relates to a method for the production and use of said adhesive.
