[origin: WO9840524A1] The invention concerns a method of producing an agglomerate from a metal- or metal-oxide-containing fine material and a mineral binder by blending the fine material with a clay-mineral-containing raw material to form a mass, forming individual mass bodies and solidifying the latter to form an agglomerate. According to the invention, in order to process metal- or metal-oxide-containing fine material, in particular roll scale, economically and cheaply, between 2 and 10 mass % of the clay-mineral-containing raw material with a grain size of between 0.5 mu m and 200 mu m is blended with between 98 and 90 mass % of the metal- or metal-oxide-containing fine material, the mass humidity being set at between 6 and 20 %, to form a plastic mass which is conveyed in blocks to a separating tool which divides the mass blocks into individual mass bodies which are then hardened.
