[origin: DE19710782A1] This invention presents and describes a sanitary fitting (1) for mounting on an installation wall, with a connecting body (2) having a hot water feed (3) and a cold water feed (4), with a valve device (5) serving for shutting off and, optionally, mixing; the hot water feed (3) and the cold water feed (4) lie in a supply plain (E) running at a right angle to the installation wall. The sanitary fitting (1) of the invention has a particularly shallow depth, namely, in that the valve device (5) is arranged outside the supply plain (E), beneath the supply plain (E) in the embodiment presented.
