Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19712096C1] The invention relates to a dosing pump for dosed liquid conveyance. The inventive device has a suction valve (8) built into a suction tube (12) coming out of a suction container, a pump chamber (7) located behind said pipe and whose displacement volume can be modified by means of a pumping member (6), a pressure valve (9) leading to a dosing tube (13), a deaeration device arranged on the top end of the tube and comprising a return valve (2) and a flow-actuated deaeration and bypass valve (1, 4, 5) built into a deaeration valve (10) whose response characteristics depend upon the state of aggregation of the liquid contained therein. Said valve (1, 5) is open when idle, only closing when pressure is raised in the presence of liquid in the valve, and is provided with a membrane (5). Faulty pump operation is substantially reduced when the membrane (5) is connected to a remote closing member (4) which closes the deaeration tube (10) when the membrane is moved and the return valve (12) is arranged between the membrane (5) and the closing member (4).
