[origin: DE19712043A1] The invention relates to a screen to protect against sources of electromagnetic interference having a non-woven fabric consisting of synthetic fibers, yarns or similar, for example a polyamide or polyester, and a metal coat which entirely coats each fiber, yarn, or similar. The non-woven fabric has a mass per unit area of 10-40 g/m<2>, and the metal coat has a mass per unit area of 25-70 g/m<2>, thus guaranteeing the elasticity of the screen necessary for its handling, and at the same time providing sufficient protection against the penetration of effects stemming from sources of electromagnetic interference.
