[origin: EP0968687A2] A medium (3) generates a bundle of light rays to illuminate an object to be shot (8) over a projection beam path (1,1') (PBP). An image sensor receives back scattered light from the object over an observation beam path (9) (OBP). A medium in the PBP creates a specimen projected onto the object. Media (4,10) in the PBP or the OBP change an angle of triangulation. At least two 3D measurements of the object are taken with different angles of triangulation (-a, -a').
