[origin: EP0968800A2] During pressing the artificial stones (3) are placed on top of an elastic underlay (2) above a bottom basis part (1), and an elastic cover (6) is placed on top of the stones. A pressure distributing part (7) is provided between the elastic cover and top basis part (9) of the press. The elastic underlay and cover are forced into the gaps between the stone holder frame and the stones during pressing, forming seals that prevent the mortar or concrete from entering the space between the underlay/cover and the stones. The resulting composite is then filled with mortar or concrete. The stones are held spaced apart by a given distance inside a surrounding frame (4), then pressure is applied to the top side of the stones via the top basis part, and then mortar and concrete is introduced into the gaps between the frame and stones. After the mortar or concrete is cured the pre-fabricated part is removed from the mould.
