[origin: FR2760944A1] The invention concerns a machine for the automatic production of brochettes from a container with its side surfaces slotted and filled with layers of meat and/or vegetables, said machine comprising at least: a station for inserting the container (PC); a station for spitting (PE) the container with picks; a cutting station, co-operating with the slots, for cutting up (PD) the spitted layers of meat and/or vegetables; a station for removing (PS) the container with different layers of cut up and spitted meat and/or vegetables. The invention is characterised in that it further comprises supporting means (1) with peripheral arrangements (4 and 5) for mounting and centring at least one container (B), said supporting means (1) being automatically controlled by rotating means to bring the container(s) (B), successively, opposite each of said stations (PC, PE, PD, and PS) arranged in a circle with respect to said means (1).
