Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19903650A1] A sailboard rig has the end of the boom fitted with an adjustable support (5) for the end of the sail. The support is linked to adjuster on each side of the rig enabling the user to adjust the sail tension from either side of the rig. The adjusters have ratchet grips to secure the different settings as does the adjuster coupling to the sail. The coupling between the adjusters can be via wires and the ratchet grips include gear wheels.
