[origin: WO9840686A1] A holster for small arms is disclosed, in which the small arm is held by its barrel or carrier and trigger plate. A holding pin (10) which engages the trigger plate from behind can be laterally inserted and withdrawn through a recess (9) provided in the holster for the trigger plate. A cheek (4) fitted with magnets (5) is provided next to the recess (9) to support the carrier of the arm. A slide guide (20) is preferably provided at the end of the holding pin (10) opposite to its end which enters the recess (9) for inserting or withdrawing the holding pin (10). The holding pin (10) can optionally be locked in its inserted position, for example by means of a lock cylinder (30).
