Abstract (en)

The lumbar support (15) in the chair comprises a support cushion rotatable about its horizontal axis and having at least three differently-shaped support surfaces. The distance between the support surface and rotation axis in the middle of a support surface is not equal to the distance between the support surface and the rotation axis in the middle of another support surface. The chair has a seat specially shaped to match the human body, and contains an adjustable lumbar support. The cushion has at least three support surfaces arranged around the cushion periphery, the surfaces being differently curved in the cushion length direction, e.g. with one concave, one convex and one flat surface.

Abstract (de)

An einem Arbeitsstuhl ist eine Lendenstütze (15) durch ein dreikantiges Stützpolster gebildet. Dieses Stützpolster (15) ist um eine Achse (59) drehbar in zwei Haltebacken (49,50) gelagert und wird durch einen über den Rahmen (35) der Rückenlehne gespannten Bezug nach hinten gedrückt. Das Stützpolster (15) spannt dabei zusammen mit dem Rahmen (35) diesen Bezug in der Lendenregion in eine rückengerechte Form. Zu Verstellung der Stütztiefe der Lendenstütze (15) sind die drei Stützflächen 53,54,55 des Stützpolsters in der Längsrichtung konkav, konvex bzw. eben ausgebildet. Je nach Drehstellung ist die eine oder andere Stützfläche gegen den Bezug gerichtet und die Lendengegend entsprechend anders geformt. Um die Stützhöhe zu verstellen ist die Lendenstütze (15) mit Ihrer Achse (59)in einer von mehreren Kerben (61) in den Haltebacken (49,50) eingerastet und kann durch Druck des Stützpolsters gegen den Bezug ausgerastet und in eine andere Kerbe (61) zurückgelassen werden. <IMAGE>
