[origin: FR2761058A1] The invention concerns a composition for in particular foliar application comprising a vehicle, standard constituents for application in particular foliar and an active substance, characterised in that the active substance consists of at least a plant protectant capable of stimulating pollen germination, selected among the group comprising: oligosaccharides with a degree of polymerisation up to 10 and comprising up to 10, preferably up to 5 and, more preferably still, two carbohydrate units bound by beta 1-3, beta 1-4, and alpha 1-3 bonds, particularly those of the group comprising laminaribiose, cellobiose, nigerose, laminaritriose, laminaritetraose, and laminaripentaose; the derivatives of the above oligosaccharides substituted on the free anomeric carbon atom or on the whole set of carbons bearing a free hydroxide by a radical selected in the group comprising: C1 to C5 alkyl radicals, preferably methyl radical; C1 to C5 acyl radicals, preferably acetyl radical; aryl radicals, preferably those of the pyridylamino type; Cx to Cy cycloalkyl radicals; amines; N-acetyl radical; and sulphate and phosphate radicals.
