[origin: WO9842215A1] The inventive funnel-shaped ash tray top enables an empty drinks can to be converted into an ash tray. This is done by simply placing the tip of the funnel on the drinks can opening. The funnel-shaped ash tray top holds the can by means of its precisely measured outer rim. A holder enables the inventive device to be used in a number of ways (i.e. placed or suspended). It is no longer necessary to stub out a cigarette since it falls into the can through the funnel and is extinguished through a lack of oxygen. It is no longer necessary to empty or clean the ash tray. The drinks can is simply replaced by another empty can when it is full of ashes. The lid of the funnel-shaped ash tray top prevents unpleasant odors. The inventive funnel-shaped ash tray top can be used many times over.
