[origin: WO9845343A1] An unsaturated polyester resin composition is disclosed, comprising an unsaturated polyester and a monomeric solvent reactive with said polyester, characterised in that the monomeric solvent comprises styrene and hydroxy alkyl acrylate or methacrylate, wherein alkyl is C1 to C4 and wherein the amounts of styrene, hydroxy alkyl (meth)acrylate and unsaturated polyester in said composition comply with the equation (I) in parts by weight. The composition is particularly useful for coating or bonding foamed articles, particularly foamed polystyrene.
