Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a glove insert (10) with a finger portion (40), a thumb portion (50), a hand portion (70) having both a palm portion (72) and a dorsal portion (74), a cuff portion (80), a hand entry (90) through which the wearer slips a hand, and an outer edge (110). The glove insert (10) is made from two textile pieces (20, 30) which are joined at the circumferential edge (104) to form a circumferential seam. The hand portion (70) of the glove insert includes at least one vacancy (75) whose edges (76, 77) are joined together to form a vacancy seam (78) which is preferably watertight. In one emobdiment of the invention the vacancy (75) is situated in the palm portion (72) of the glove insert (10). The vacancy (75) is preferably petal-shaped. <IMAGE>
