The keep-hot crucible for liquid metals, has a bottom (1) and a side (2) surrounding the space (3) for accommodating the metal. The crucible side is provided with a built-on filling channel (4) which is open at the top, and leads to the bottom region of the space (3).

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Warmhaltetiegel für flüssiges, geschmolzenes Metall. Der Warmhaltetiegel weist einen Boden (1) und einen von dessen Umfang aufragenden, einen Aufnahmeraum (3) für das Metall begrenzenden Mantel (2) auf. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Warmhaltetiegel im Bereich des Mantels (2) außerdem mit einem fest eingebauten, nach oben offenen Füllkanal (4) versehen, der in einem unteren Bereich in den Aufnahmeraum (3) mündet. <IMAGE>
