Abstract (en)
The sliver can has a skin (2) forming longitudinal (3) and end (4) sides, which join rectangular top (6) and bottom (5) frames. A slot (7) extends along only one side between the frames. The sliver can may be fitted with a loose floor (8) incorporating a lifting tube (10). A lifting arm can be inserted through the slot in the end side into the lifting tube. The lifting arm is raised or lowered by a mechanism to move the floor.

Es wird eine Rechteckspinnkanne mit einem deren Boden (9) und deren Kopf im wesentlichen quaderförmig verbindenden Mantel (2) beschrieben, wobei der Mantel (2) aus den größeren Rechteckflächen entsprechenden Längswänden (3) und den kleineren Rechteckflächen (4) bestehenden Stirnwänden besteht. Um den Herstellungsaufwand der Kanne (1) und den Betriebsaufwand beim Handhaben der Kanne zu vermindern, weisen der Boden (9) und der Kopf der Kanne (1) je einen stabilisierenden Rahmen, nämlich einen Boden- und Kopfrahmen (5,6) auf, während der Mantel nur einen einzigen von dem Bodenrahmen (5) zum Kopfrahmen (6) durchgehenden Schlitz (7) besitzt. <IMAGE>
