Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0972898A1] The security system comprises a transducer (14) that can transmit of receive an electromagnetic signal. Part of the system is contained within an internal unit (24) that is located within the vehicle body panel (10). An external (26) unit that slides within this unit houses the transducer. A printed command circuit (20) contains contacts (46) that correspond to contacts (44) located on the transducer. Connecting the contact completes the circuit and controls the locking of the door.
