[origin: EP0973362A1] The welding head (1) includes a head cap (5) that is connected to a cutout mechanism (6,9). A relay switch (3) controls the cutout mechanism and the release of the welding head. The release of the switch is controlled by the operating handle, which must be in contact with the operators' hand to allow use of the welder. An Independent claim is included for a procedure of assembling the plasma welding head.
