[origin: FR2761614A1] The invention concerns a steering device (1) for moving and directing a miniature vehicle (10) provided with at least one leading wheel (13), the steering device comprising a control member (2) arranged outside the miniature vehicle (10) to be remote-manipulated by the user, means (3) for transmitting inside said miniature vehicle (10) any movement produced on the control member (2), and means for deflecting each leading wheel (13) controlled by said transmission means (3). The invention is characterised in that said steering device (1) comprises converting means (5) for gearing down any primary movement actuating the transmission means (3) into a secondary movement for deflecting each leading wheel (13). The invention is applicable to toys, in particular miniature vehicles remote-controlled by a control member with dimensions and positioning corresponding to the child's morphology.
